No sooner than a month after receiving my new Nikon DSLR I started to see the spots, following an outdoor shoot I came home and started to process my photos and there was an ugly bunch of spots.
I have no idea how they got there as I am careful when out and if I do need to change lens I point the body down and then take the other lens Spotsoff and quickly put on the other lens. I also do the in camera “sensor clean” before each outing. But somehow I quickly had a problem. Now what to do?" here is an example of a photo showing a crop of one area, and the photo has other areas with spots as well. Here in this example crop I placed red marks next to some of the spots.. As you can see this is annoying and can take lots your time to clean them up in post processing.
After getting my manual air blower out and trying that, I was only able to get rid of a few of the spots but the problem was consistent and required a better method other than hand air.
