The Tokina 11~20mm f/2.8 is made for “crop” sensor camera’s such as Nikon or Canon’s APSC type sensors. This is Tokina’s third and newest release for this popular wide angle zoom lens replacing Tokina’s older 11-16mm which has a strong following, for good reason.  Let’s dive into the details of this lens..

The Nikon 1 series cameras and Lens are Nikon's first introduction into the world of mirrorless cameras with interchangeable lenses.  With so many new mirrorless cameras on the market and the various sensor sizes, I was on the fence about a CX sized sensor camera system, capability, and image quality.   When Nikon released the V3 I was ready to give these new smaller cameras a try so I jumped off the fence, and if you have a new Nikon 1 camera body you need a lens or two to go with it – enter the 1 Nikkor  6.7-13mm f/3.5-5.6 VR.  Let’s take a look!
