I set up both my white light and hydrogen-alpha telescopes to capture some nice filaments a prominence. Filaments are formed in magnetic loops that hold relatively cool, dense gas suspended above the surface of the Sun. Today I captured great Solar HA photos with my Solar Telescope and had a nice surprise seeing the fantastic prominences shown in the images?
